How do I use Reference to improve/correct the meta data

i have a fair number of Flac files with poor, wrong, and missing meta data. Can reference be used to fix them using the data from the four providers.

Or should I just rerip them?

Last is there a way to make sure all performers are listed by their last names--Baez, Joan instead of Joan Baez

Re-rip and press ALT + M when the meta data is in to correct.

Fortunately I'm just getting started on this so reripping with dbpoweramp won't be such a big job and I'll have peace of mind it's done right.
