Open dBpoweramp Configuration (See "Need to find your version?" below in my signature) and make sure you are running Reference, as the PowerPack version does not support multiple CPUs.

Re: Multi CPU Support Not Working Windows 7

I just installed Windows 7 Pro. I reinstalled dMC-R13.3-Ref-Registered and it seems to be only using one cpu to encode. It showed the use of two cpu's when encoding in Vista Home Premium. Should I be able to see both cpus' working in Win 7 pro while it decodes? It only shows one file at a time working in Win 7. Any ideas?
      Thanks

Which format are you converting from and to?

I have tried ape to alac, flac to alac, flac to mp3 (lame), flac to wav, mp3 to wav etc. I tried just about everything and only get one file at a time. I usually just converted ape or flac to alac and all worked well in Vista. What could have changed in Windows 7 ?

Check in dBpoweramp Configuration that it is Reference Registered, also some lossless formats do not spawn the multi-cpu encoder as the HDD is the slowest part, not CPU, but mp3 should always run multi-cpu.

That is not reference, you might have had the trial of reference previously, see:

Fixed the problem !!!!! I downloaded cpuID and aShampoo Core tuner. I ran each one and both told me I only had one of my two E6750 (2.66 dual) cores working. When booting BIOS told me I had two cores, but Win 7 task manager performance tab, cpuID and aShampoo all told me had a dual 2.66 processor but i only showed one core working. I downloaded the latest BIOS for my motherboard and voila .... two cores and dual core decoding. :smile2:
