    Convert FLAC to 5.1 wav?

I have a bunch of FLAC files I'd like to convert to .wav so I can play them on my DVD player. I know dBpoweramp can convert to wav, but can I change the channel settings to get 5.1? Would I gain any sound quality? Is there any benefit of using 24 bit? Will I get quality loss? FLAC is already lossless, so can I get any better output? The same question for 96 KHz vs. 192KHz. Is it possible? Would I benefit or would I have to have ears like a rabbit to tell any difference?

    Many thanks.

If the source file is FLAC 2 channel, 44.1KHz, 16bit, for best quality leave as that when converting to wave.
