How do I know if wav is deleted on conversion?

I'm using latest reference trial version on windows vista. I'm converting to flac on ripper. I don't remember seeing an option to delete wav on conversion when I set it up. When I check my music folder files are in flac. Does that mean the wav was deleted or do I need to check somewhere else to know?
    Thanks;Ken

dBpoweramp does not create temporary Wave files, it encodes direct to FLAC.
