how to make ripper get and output right track names

Just before I rip an MP3 file from my CD the application is supposed to go to CD database and get the right track title and artist names.
Depending on the CD, it is getting this data reversed inserting the artist name under the track title field and inserting track title under the artist field thus after your rips your output MP3 tagged data are messed up (track title and artist names are reversed in the output tagged data). How do I get the application to not mess up like this?

The CD ripper should tell you where it obtained the track/artist information from. Where does it say it is it getting the information from?

The problem is most likely with the meta data at source rather than the CD Ripper.

It is getting the data from the freeb.org database. Other ripper applications I use with the SAME CD do not retrieve the title and artist data in reverse order.

Which album is it? What are the other ripper applications?
