    Quality Conversion

    Hi,

I have the converter program that I bought a few years ago. My music collection has been encoded over time at all different rates from 128 and up. I have alot of newer stuff that was encoded at 300+ and I want to downsample everything to 192 for the best listening/space tradeoff. Can I point it to the root folder of my collection and have it just downsample anything larger than 192, and leave anything at that rate or lower alone?

My concern is I dont want ti upsampling the lower bit rate stuff and then actually losing quality or wasting time on files that are already 192.

    Thanks

    Re: Quality Conversion

Use the Batch Converter, point it at the root directory and tell it to select subfolders, sort by the "Bitrate" column then select the files you want.
