    Updating to DMC13

    XP SP3.
Currently have version 11, have downloaded 13.

    1. Should I un-install DMC 11 then install 13?
    2. Is the Tag feature in v13 much different than 11?
I seem to recall installing 12 and did not like it, so went back to 12.
Is there a link to screen shots of both versions or a page showing the differences?
    3. Is DMC 13 Vista 64 bit compatible?

    Thanks.

See here for the answer to #1:
For dMC, If you are using Reference, make sure you are installing the Reference Registered version, NOT the trial. If you are using the PowerPack, you simply install the latest PowerPack trial over top of your existing install and make sure to NOT uninstall the old version. For dCW, you need to uninstall your current version

    2. As for version changes: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/Version-Changes-DMC.htm

    3. Yes, though the explorer columns don't display right in Vista due to changes in it.

      1. Ok so sounds like a fresh install (go to Add/Remove and remove all) then install the new R13. The codecs that are in the illustrate file in C:/program files are still saved.

      2. thnx
      3. thx

        1. You'll need to update to the new r12/r13 codecs, as the codec system was changed in the move from r11 to r12/13.
