Looking to apply perfectmeta to existing music

    Hi all,
I've been ripping my CDs to flac using the demo model. I am now a happily paid up user and have activated the perfectmeta service. All my newly ripped music's data is oh so purdy. However the stuff I ripped using the demo model has the same cover for all albums. How do I use perfectmeta to check and correct existing music? I am interested in correcting song data as well as covers.

    Thanks!

    Bill

dMC doesn't currently have the ability to apply online-metadata to ripped songs, sorry.

      Well, poop.

Any advice on tools that can help fix up album art for flac files?

If you could find a way to get the album art in the folder of each CD, you could use the Batch Converter and the utility codec [ID Tag Update] to import the correct album art into the files themselves. Of course, this still doesn't get you the album art on your computer. I've used a program called "Album Art Aggregator" before, but from a quick google search the original website no longer has it.

I've used the album Art Aggregator in the past myself and it is still installed on my PC. However I'm not sure that I would need it any more now that the dBpowerAMP supports album art.

You could try The Godfather it has an Amazon image grabber. For a list of features visit http://users.forthnet.gr/the/jtclipper/features.html
