How to replace bad song in album

Can anyone tell a newbie to dB CD Ripper if there is a way to replace a error filled song in an album rip? Thanks.

Have you tried ultra secure ripping (requires POwer Pack, I believe)?

If that will not suffice, your best bet would be to get a better CD to copy from.

    Best wishes,
    Bill

Ultra-Secure ripping requires Reference, but the PowerPack can do Secure ripping.

Thanks for the suggestions but I am already using Ultra Secure in Reference. Any other ideas? I have no clue.

If the CD is badly damaged then it might not be possible to rip the track without errors, only getting a replacement cd will help.

Thanks for all the advice. If the track is too badly damaged to salvage, is it possible to substitute in the same song either purchased standalone or from a different album? What I mean is to bring it into the album in place of the original. If so, how?

Browse to where your audio files are (in Music) and paste the new file there using Windows Explorer.

That's it? You mean there's no gee-whiz, techno-bizarro, super dB insider, secret method? Come on! Here I was feeling all "I'm in with the in-crowd" and you tell me all I need to do is cut and paste? Where's your pity?
Seriously, if that works okay, I'm very happy to run with it; thanks everyone for your input. :komisch9:
