What is the best way to rip a disc with errors in r12?

OK, once we've exhausted all the ways r12 offers to get an accuraterip, and we've resigned ourselves to the fact that an accuraterip just isn't possible. What are the correct settings to get the program/drive to read the disc and use error correction where necessary?

In other words, with Windows Media Player it'll zip right on through the disc and generate a copy that sounds good (though probably riddled with errors). How can I do the same with r12 and maybe clean up some of the problems with error correction along the way?

Most drives will interpolate and hide the errors, burst rip would give the same as a WMP rip.

Use "Secure" ripping, preferably Reference-only "ultra Secure" ripping.
