.FLAC.!ut and .!ut files

I've got a couple of files downloaded, one with the .FLAC.!ut file extension and the other with the .!ut file extension. I've tried converting them to .mp3 files with the converter but all I get is an error message telling me I need the correct codec installed to do this. The message doesn't tell me which codec I need to install. I've looked on the FileX site to see what that says about
.!ut files but it doesn't recognise the file extension name. I have tried to install and use the RENAME FILE Utility tool but to no avail. Can anyone offer any advice or help to resolve this?

They sound like part downloaded torrent files.

Looks like you downloaded a file from utorrent and the file is not complete or finished downloading.. uTorrent has an option to append !ut at the end of uncompleted files AKA temp files. So for example when I download files with uTorrent the file will look like this until it's finish:

01-2pac-my_ambitionz_az_a_ridah.mp3.!ut

Once its complete it will rename the file to "01-2pac-my_ambitionz_az_a_ridah.mp3"

I believe these may be incomplete download files.

I think .!ut is the suffix used by uTorrent for incomplete download files.
