How do I compress MP3's to wav format:
    MPEG Layer-3 11025mhz, 8bit, 1 'mono'?
    I get the option of
    MPEG Layer-3 11025hz, 16kbps ABR, Mono

    Re: compression

I think maybe you want compressed PCM wav rather than MPEG layer III

    I have this combination:

    11.025KHz, 8 bit, mono - 10kb/sec

It's close to the start of the drop down list for Comrpessed PCM wav.

      Re: compression

If you install the Lame wave mp3 ACM codec you might get more options:

MrKen already has the lame acm codec installed (it's the only one with abr modes)

The setting you desire might not be available from the lame acm codec. It is probably available in the fhg acm codec (l3codecp.acm or l3codeca.acm).

Most programs don't like having more than one mp3 codec installed. l3codeca.acm comes with winXP. To regain access to it, uninstall the lame acm codec.
