help!

i have used db for over a year and never had any problems, until today. i put in a cd to copy some tracks and db just ran through all the tracks without playing any. then i could not access anything in my music collection, the file is there but db would not play it.
what happened? i changed no setting and did nothing differently but i am now deaf.

What CD did you put it? Was it a burned CD or a store-bought pressed CD?

It sounds like your sound drivers goofed up. Will Windows Media Player play anything?

I discovered that SpyCatcher - an anti-spyware program - was identifying wdmaud.drv as spyware and did not allow it to load when db tried to play a cd or anything from My Music Collection. now that it is an ex-program on my machine, db works perfectly. now, though, i can't use in-line sampling with audiograbber for some reason which i think is related to the spycatcher situation.
