Re: How do I convert Protected wma to mp3

My bad, i meant like a cd i downloaded. it doesnt have to be a cd. just any song will work. I just dont want to press that record when the song when it starts, or end it when the song ends. But when i put the auto end, and the auto start on, it messes up the song. ex. i would be on track 3 and it would be recording on track 8. and when i view the songs 5,6,4,7, they would be like 4 sec long.. its hard to say lol :nospeak:

You cannot actually "convert" protected anything - that's why it's protected. If you have the license for it, you either can burn an audio cd with it (if the license and software allow audio cd burning with it) and then rip the audio cd normally using dMC Audio CD Input, or else you record new audio files through dMC Auxilairy Input as you play the protected files through the soundcard in your player that can do so.

When you say you downloaded a cd you must mean you donwloaded various protected audio files that were compressed from the original tracks of an audio cd. You then have a folder of (protected) audio files - in fact data files - not an audio cd.

That is just a bad copy of the leading software in the converting protected files business, called Tunebite.
Tried soundtaxi just for the sake of it, then dumped it...

All you have to do is make a subscription to urge again, for a month, then update your library again, then you will be able to play them. Use whatever converter you want to free them from DRM, then cancel the subscription.
The same thing happened to me with Napster. Then after I re-activated the account and updated the library, I inserted all files in Tunebite and let it run at full speed => happy customer :D

I'm using TuneRaft Professional and believe that this one is fastest if you have a brand-new PC.

My old post (BurnBabyBurn) was a 'how-to' on how to use Auxiliary Input to copy ANY music, then convert it to whatever format you wanted using dmc music converter version r9a .
I never use Autostart or Autostop because the file is huge and has to be chopped up, so I start/stop after each song, saves mucho time.
