    Select a track in MMC.
    Right-click and select Edit Tag.
From there you should be able to delete any unwanted genres by clicking on the Delete Genre button and add any new genres you want to your list by clicking on the Add Genrre button. These changes will take place throughout the Music Collection so that any new genre should appear in the Genre field of the Edit Tag window from any title.

You may need to manually assign genres to tracks that are assigned to new genres or whose previously assigened genres were deleted. Simply select any number of tracks to which you wish to assign to a given genres, right-click, select Edit Tag and assign a genre for that set of files.

If you use dBpowerAMP Music Converter, it does not look like changes made to the genre field in MMC will have any effect upon genres available through dMC's right-click Edit Tag feature.

    Best wishes,
    Bill

"MMC" is "My Music Collection" in dBpowerAMP Audio Player.
