i would like to make an icon using a picture of my mp3 player for Sveta portable audio. evertime i make one, the background comes out black. i want to fix this, can i?

search for options about the transparent background in the prog you are working...
and for instance in irfan view when you save icon and gif files it asks you to pick a transparent color...
