i just got a simple question, what about "WinAMP"? that has AMP in it. friggin companies trying to hurt the people that matter. its like when a criminal does something wrong, the criminal has more rights than the victim. just a though.

FYI Brian-
I believe if you followed this thread (or maybe this was in a link referenced in this thread), you might have seen that this same company reportedly DID go after WinAmp.

oh... i guess i missed it :blush: . ill re-read it and see if i can find where it was. and thats terrible, a company shouldnt be able to do that. its an acronym. the thing should have been thrown outa court. :vmad:

I find that kinda ridiculous of a company. To go after an esteemed code-writer like Spoon, and then go after a mass corporation known as AOL to harass a product based on a title that uses the word "AMP" for competely different reasons from that of PlayMedia.
