What is the current status of the House of the future. I understand congratulations are in order for the birth of a boy! I guess you are busy wiring lullaby's to the baby's room...

You have inspired me to work on a similar project. I plan to start building a house in 2 years and I am giving the architect AV requirements. Since you have been at this longer than I have I was hoping a dialog could be opened to discuss everyone experience to date. Right now the big question for me is do I use a AV server?
What is the best method of connection, wireless, coax, optical, etc.?

Thanks for turning me on to Plextor drives and Monkey Audio. I use them exclusively.

It is currently out of commision, but might be re-instated. Optical is good and can travel large distances, wireless is easier.
