Editing Tool?

Hello to all.

I have downloaded dbpowerAMP and am very impressed with this software. My query is: does anyone know of an editing tool that extracts 'pieces' of music in MP3 format?

I have looked at some of the threads - way too many - so aplogies if this has already been asked and answered.

You mean you want to extract parts of files? You could try Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
If your wanting to record other files and make them into audio files, try Auxiliary Input. Intructions linked to below.
