i think it's too big and don't want to be faced with some big pic shoved in my face when reading posts. also it is too large as in over 49KB.

Sorry no, each time someone opens a thread that image has to download (I sometimes login to the forum using a 0.9KB link GSM modem), it would take about 1 minute just to load your image! Around 2-4 KB is ok for a sig. -
