Free utility plugging
This is to plug any other free utilities that you really like using...
Here's my first plug: Irfanview 3.75 from http://www.irfanview.com/ . It's basically an image viewer, supporting almost all image formats, but also opens some animation, video and audio formats. It also allows:
brightness/contrast/gamma/colour balance adjustment, rotation, resizing (the resize function is superb), pallette editing, colour depth adjustment, apply PhotoShop filters, scan from TWAIN sources, save to many different formats, get image information...
It's also only about 800KB, though you can add the 3MB filters extension to allow it to open the full range of supported formats. It's also very efficient with system resources - I use it for TWAIN acquisition.
