OT: Possible to use custom avatar?

Maybe not a good question for this board, but is it possible to upload a custom avatar image file? I looked in profile settings and couldn't find it. Is this not allowed?

Probably not. It depends on user privileges I think.
If you have them, the you will see Edit Avatar right on the left side menu in you User CP.

Well, I've got that but it looks like I can only pick from a library of predefined avatars...and that's not what I really want to do.

Do you not get the option to upload a custom avatar?

When I go to the edit avatar option, at the bottom of the page under those already available, I get the option to upload a custom avatar.

normal users don't have the avatar upload option. i updated your avatar for you.

i have turned on custom avatars for now.

max 10240 bytes and h/w 50x50

it never used to work in the past but see if it will work now.
