Hello,
I know these posts are getting contagious by the second, but i've managed to format my RCA Lyra 40GB RD2840A MP3 player by mistake. Anyhow, since i'm using windows XP i could only manage to format it using NTFS. Now after i download the firmware and try to run it, it displays 'Bad or missing lyra_sys folder'.
I've read somewhere that these kind of players can only be formatted under FAT to work properly... but you can do that under XP since the MP3 Player is bigger than 32GB. My question is:
1- Is my drive being NTFS not FAT is the real source of my problem?
2- If so, what should i do? is there a utility to fix this? dos utilities don't seem to read NTFS drives and hence won't work.
Appreciate any help
