LOL! I can't tone it down, just bear with it for a bit longer. At least it's not also playing http://songwriters-chat.webado.com/f...daysofxmas.mid as it does on one of my web pages :D

Hehe, I know you can't tone it down. Just suprised me when I first saw it. And yes, I'm glad there's no music of any sort.

Now, to figure out why midi files won't play....

Ah, what's your default player and can it play midi?
        Using Firefox or IE?

Open Volume Controls and check Synthesizer - it must be muted.

Yea, the MIDI option in Volume Control was muted. Got it now.

Haha, yea, I'm glad there's not this music. That would very rapidly becoming annoying.

my god would that be a lot of noise ! each signature ! i would keep it on mute for sure

I'm kidding a bit, but me, personaly, and some of my friends, don't like music on web pages, 'cause I always have music on(dAP) so overlaping is usually pretty bad... and another thing about midies is that on web pages it is hard to turn them down, where my wave player (and directX) are pretty low, so that I can turn up the volume when a really good song comes along, without touching the speakers...
