    Note To ChristinaS

    Christina,
I purchased a cd player for 169.99 (total with harness, tax, and install
    = $250.43 I did not take the extended warrenty (4 years worth = 49.50)

    Got it at BestBuy.
Its a Pioneer, model DEH-P4600MP and its good for up to 8 speakers (i
have 6). It does play WMA\WAV\MP3\CD-R\CD-RW and it plays them
very well. Haven't tried the WMA or WAV yet but does a good job on
CD's created by dBPowerAMP CD-Writer. Lots of controls, to many to
mention here. Oh, Apparently it will also play Text CD's.
    Installation was about 1 hour.

    Price breakdown is:
    Wiring Harness - 16.99
    Player - 169.99
    Materials - 4.00
Installation - 47.99 (not free any more)
    and of course, tax.

I'm Happy with it, specially when i can make my own CD's.

Hey, it sounds like you got yourself something pretty good in the end, especially if the installation was done well and fast. Though in my dollars that's pretty steep (add about 33% more :( ), I'd guess it can't be helped.

Now, as for the Missuz, well, nothing that a nice bouquet of flowers and a candle-light dinner (out, not in) won't cure I'd think :D

Sorry, i forgot about the exchange rate for "way up there". But at least
it would stop trips to the car trunk.... :smile2:
It does seem to be a pretty good unit - let u know a year from now (or
sooner) how it holds up its end.

You're kidding right? If i did either of those things, she'd think i had a
girl-friend. At our age that would be stretching things a bit. We've been
married 44 years and its totally out of character for me or her. Besides
that, She's Japanese and it won't work.

But thanks for the advice.... :smile2:
