There appear to be no codecs for conversion involving dMC.
Other products can do it:
One is to use Windows Media Encoder and encode to wma and thereafeter
convert the wma file to wav or mp3 or any other format. This works in real time. Pretty confusig so best to avoid it actually.
Another is using the Audio Converter program (download for free from http://audio-video.ws/download.html ). I haven't used this one yet, so I cannot comment on how it works (or doesn't). -

Thread locked. The original is over a year old and I'm sure there are other threads that cover this.
Auxiliary Input will work. There is also VirtuaDub, I think it is called, that can rip the audio out of a video.Comment
