    Per-User-Settings in XP

Hi,I Have a question about per- user -settings using windows XP. My roommate and I both use dmc audio cd imput to encode from cds'. Our settings are different I'll encode to Monkey's or MPC, and she'll use lame or WMA to encode. We each have our own music folders, and we each tag our files differently. We both use the same drive (ripping configuration). Since I have had an on going problem with ripping speed (Loosing Speed) for several months now. It comes and goes. I was wondering if it had something to do with our different settings? I also have Plextools installed and have not had this problem, I can reach 40x plus. By loss of ripping speed I mean any where from 3x to 8x with PowerPack (set to auto). I should add she has the same problem also.

Shouldn't cause it, make sure if you are testing ripping speeds you should rip to 'Test Conversion'.
