I have some WMA files downloaded from a legal site for music files, paid for. The problem is their is something stopping them from either recording to CD or copying to my DAP. Can anyone suggest the codec I require to convert them from this the WMA format to MP3 or the or any other that can play. The DAP is a Creative Zen NX. Many thinks in advance.

Re: Protected WMA files
How did you attempt to copy them to CD? Did you use WMP?
As they are bought tracks you might only be allowed to play them on your PC and nowhere else. I do know that dMC/dAP can not process protected WMA file. Maybe someone else knows if there is any other software available which can process them.
