Hello! This is not a dbpoweramp issue but a Windows explorer one. I did use dbpoweramp to edit the tags of a collection of wav files in Greek (track and album title) but they are displayed as a series of English letters and question marks in windows explorer. Out of curiosity I converted the entire album to flac and the tags are displayed just fine. It's the wav version that's messed up. Also the pop-up info window shows the correct tags, so the issue is strictly wav files in explorer. I am adding a screen shot. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Re: WAV ID tags not displayed properly in Windows Explorer
Windows 10 comes with the ability to read ID Tags for a bunch of standard codecs such as: mp3, wave, flac, m4a, opus, ogg The issue can be, that Microsoft do not support the full range of ID Tags that dBpoweramp does, such as Wave ID3 chunk, or the full subset of id3v2.4 tags. Even worse for opus and ogg Microsoft do not readComment

LIST Album Tag IPRD
LIST Track Tag ITRK
LIST Padding Type 'JUNK' Chunk
LIST Padding Size 2KB
ID3v2 Version V2.3

Re: WAV ID tags not displayed properly in Windows Explorer
Windows will only show the ID3 List tags in explorer, this format is limited to A-Z characters. dBpoweramp also writes a id3v2.4 tag, but very few programs will read that.Comment

Re: WAV ID tags not displayed properly in Windows Explorer
Thanks again Spoon. I can definitely live with that minor issue. The important thing is that the correct titles are being displayed by the audio player app on Windows or anywhere else.Comment
