    Help on uninstall???

This maybe sounds a little odd but what the hell. I got a problem with MS Windows Media player 9, I can't remove it from my system(xp). I have searched every where for an answer and I couldn't get any help from Microsoft. So I thought that I would try here, if you don't mind. Do anyone know something about uninstalling it? Or can't you uninstall it? Please help, I don't want the player, it sucks. :teufel12:

    Re: Help on uninstall???

it is a part of the system - it can not be uninstaled - and that's that!

    But !
if you have SP1 then you can set Media Player NOT to be the default player for files, and NOT to appear in the right-click menu Then you delete the shourtcuts from the desktop (and start) and like it ain't here no more
And if you ask me one of the best player to be linked with all of your video players (except QuickTime and such) is MV2
