kx project drivers.. minor trouble

Ok, I got fed up with Creative and their crapstatic support, so I ditched it and installed the KX drivers. Works great so far except for 1 thing (and yes I'm hoping someone can help me :p)

I can't get the AC3 pass-thru to work. I have an external AC3 decoder, and I can't get KX to pass the AC3 stream to the external decoder as-is. I did manage to get KX to decode the audio, so for the time being, I can use that, but the quality of my external decoder seems better to my ears, especially channel seperation.

So anyway, can anyone help? I am runnig the KX on a WinXP machine on a VIA KT133 based motherboard, the audio is a SoundBlaster Audigy.
