You cannot "download" from an audio tape per se. What you will be doing is digitally record what the tape will be playing.
What you have to do is take a wire from your tape player to your soundcard, and plug it in the LINE-IN of your soundcard (worst case, you could have to plug it in the microphone jack, but that's not recommended).
Then, you can use dMC Auxiliary Input to record what the tape is playing. You might have to adjust your recording volumes to get optimal quality, but it's feasable and and not too complicated.
