On MacOS when right clicking on a folder and choosing 'Convert with dBpoweramp' service all metadata tags show <different>. Prior to my upgrade to the latest release, I was able to see all common tag values (e.g. Genre). After some trial and error I discovered that if there were any files (in my case) with extensions of .jpg or .txt in the folder this would be the case. If there were only files with a valid codec extension (.flac in my case) it would work just fine. My issue is that sometimes I want to correct a specific tag for an artist (most often the genre) for several albums/folder ... now I have to got to each individual folder and select only the music tracks. Had this issue a few releases back and it was fixed ... will this be fixed in the next release?
Id Tag Editor not showing information at the album (or artist) folder level

If the ID tag editor isn't showing information at the album or artist folder level, it's likely because ID3 tags are stored per file, not per folder. Ensure each music file contains proper metadata. Folder-level info relies on consistent tags across files and may require manual or batch editing.👎 2Comment
