CD-Rom not working a few weeks after installing Ripper...

... and the day after returning from holiday. Could it be anything to do with dbPoweramp or is it likely that the CD-Rom has broken (the control panel sees the D drive and says it is working). I have a 4-yr old Acer Aspire 4820T that I only use for music purposes (storage and play back - zero creativity).

Our programs do not have any such limitation, even in trial mode, check in Windows explorer that it can recognize there is an audio cd inserted, when
you click on the drive it should show Track01, Track02, etc, if it says insert CD then your CD drive has a problem.

Thanks Spoon. "if it says insert CD then your CD drive has a problem" - it does, and I have gone through troubleshooter etc. Do you recomment a new CD-Rom or new laptop (mine is 4 yrs old)?

New USB external drives are very cheap these days.
