library info.

Please forgive me if this seems simple question-but iam no tech head,so a bit unsure.

the speaker icon on the desktop. can i take it this is the shell integration bit for windows. if i rip to a nas will the list of contents always remain there.-even if windows is not connected to the nas.-only the network. i really like that it stores info and i can find titles/artists etc..once ripped.
Can i take it i dont have to ripp it to my pc hard drive for the info to stay there.

The audio will be where ever you save it to, if you copy to PC it will stay there, copy to the NAS and it stays there.
