Best/Ideal CD/DVD/BD Rom for dbpoweramp?

I'm looking to rip my collection soon, but have older ROM drives in my machine. I understand that with AccurateRip you can get great rips even from old drives, but is there any "ideal" drive to work with dbpoweramp, one that supports all the extra features that could help improve a rip. Currently my drive supports "c2 error pointers" and "accurate stream" but I'm not sure if there is anything else that could help improve the integrity of the rip from the ROM standpoint?

If AccurateRip verifies the rip is 100% correct no matter what drive you use. The difference in drives is the ability to recover errors on damaged discs.
