Spoon and Gary,
Thank you both and your information is perfect. I agree that this is a waste. This reminds me of writing an accurate, but negative review on an EMI box set for Arkiv Music. Guess what, after they published this, they took it down because it knoicked EMI's production. Do you think that commercialism rules?
Have a great weekend.
Best regards,

Re: RATING, what is it, from where does it come, etc.?
I don't save these tags from ripping because the general populations rating of how much they like this song is meaningless to me. Imagine: Some crappy top 40 song that I hate but I have because my wife likes the song may show up as highly rated by the general population. But I certainly wouldn't want this song playing a lot if I had a dynamic playlist that played my songs randomly based on having high ratings. If I want to tag songs with ratings I do this myself afterwards.Leave a comment:

Popularity, it should be a personal thing where the player might use it to play better rated items more than less.Leave a comment:

Thanks Spoon. What is the rating, i.e. is this a ranking of what?

When ripping the rating comes from AMG.Leave a comment:

RATING, what is it, from where does it come, etc.?
O.K., I have read over the Audio Guide at least a dozen times. My feeble mind can retain maybe 20% of what I have read. Perhaps I am blind, but I have not found a discussion and definition of "RATING" What is this? From where does the rating originate? Of what value is the rating, etc.?
Kindly forgive my if this is explained in the Audio Guide.
Thank you,
TomTags: None
