    Love the Software -- Hate the Company

    I hate your company. I love your products, but I hate your lack of email support and your impossibly-difficult to navigate web page, especially for upgrades.

    I've been forced to buy your product at least 8 or 9 times over the last few years, simply out of my frustration at trying to get a simple upgrade. Today was really the last straw. After trying over and over again to get your website to recognize my logon with one of the following order numbers:

    All it would say is that the order numbers were legitimate and that my AMG subscription had expired -- with no button to click to resolve the problem. If there had just been a simple button that said UPGRADE, that would have solved the problem. But no.

    I finally again threw in the towel and spent the $38 to buy your program all over again, even though all I really need is a simple AMG update. I paid the money. Now, when I attempt to download the program, I get this error message:

    Excessive Lookups, Registration Page Locked, Please Try Again in 30 minutes

    Have I mentioned that I hate your company? I can't be the only person who encounters this same problem.

    Please do what you can to resolve this as soon as you can. I use your products because they're the best on the market, and I'm a big fan of dBPowerAmp and Ripper. But the way you handle the order process is mind-numbingly awful.

    On any of your orders, or on this page:



    an email address is given for registered download enquiries. We only request that people post software questions to the forum, it is more efficient for us, and also the end user (I have answered 26,000 questions over the years, most questions already have an answer on this forum, so people can get an instant answer).

    Our website does put a temporary (30 minute block) when it detects multiple order number log in requests from the same location, previously we had used a captcha to protect the downloads, but sometimes even I could not see what words were to be typed, so we removed it, even though it lowers our security, so that 99.999% of people click on the download link in the email and get the download.

    Send us an email using the address above with your latest order number and we can check it out and provide a direct download link for you (of the list of orders you posted, the last one was an AMG 1 year upgrade).
