Can anyone tell about super audio cds? I unknowingly purchased one of these cds yesterday,brought it home and tried to play it, but nothing happened. I tried no less than 4 cdplayers, none could play it. I returned the cd and the guy at the shop was not surprised that I had no luck.H e said you need a special player capable of playing this new type of cd. These super cds are suppose to be a cut above standard cds in terms of sound quality.Which he said was just BS, and that these cds were introduced about 6months ago. Can anyone shedd any light on this matter? Do you really need a special compatible cd player? Is this hype and nothing else? Or is he right just a bunch of BS. Could this be a new trend of some kind?
