Am I missing something?

Hi, after spending about 3 hours trying to configure EAC and completely failing, I tried dbpoweramp, set the encoding to lossless uncompressed and it ripped my CD perfectly to flac in less than 2 minutes.

I'm really new to all of this. All I know is I configured next to nothing, it just did it all for me. I must be missing something, because it can't be that easy?
