Greetings,
I have just started streaming and have ben using the 21 day free trial copy of dBpoweramp for ripping CDs to a NAS drive, for subsequent playing thru a Cyrus Streamline.
My problem is that having ripped a number of CD's I am now getting a "File format error" message when i try to play the tracks in FLAC format.
The same files were all playing OK last week, but since the free 21 days has run out, I have been unable to play the files. I have now registered my copy of dBpoweramp, but there has been no change to the error message, and they will still not play.
I have some MP3 files which were ripped thru Windows Media Player, and they play fine.
I assumed that the FLAC tracks did not play due to the expry of the free trial, is this correct?
If the answer is yes, is simply registering the product sufficent to get them working again?
If that answer is no, then what do I need to do?
Look forward to some helpful advice.
Thanks
John M
