Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help. I've just created an .exe using installer 8. I have to say its better that installshield! anyway, everythings fine except one small problem and i was wondering if there was a solution.
unfortunaltely due to the nature of the application i have written (ie it contains massive pdf's) when the .exe is run the system takes a good five minutes before the first install sceen comes up. the cd with the data on it constantly reads. Im not sure what its doing. i presume its gathering a file index or something.
However i need the first screen to come up quickly as this will be distributed to our network of dealers and they will be to impatient to wait and will most likely think thereis a problem.
Anyone know how i could get round this?
