Batch converting using 'Dynamic' is album art carried over?

Hi. I'm contemplating upgrading to Reference because I need to batch convert thousands of files and need to have the file structure duplicated, and my understanding is that I can only do this by upgrading from R14.2 to Reference (?). Each of my sub folders containing the actual music files also has album art (JPEG). Is this also carried across or will I still have to manually copy each one of those?
