Rather often, I receive the message that all tracks of a cd have been correctly ripped (thereby referring to accuraterip, also the log file says everything has been ripped correctly).
When I look at the tracks on the internal HD of my PC, everything LOOKS fine, i.e. the filename IS (e.g. 01 Dmitry Shostakovich - Piano Concerto No. 1, for piano, trumpet & strings, in C minor, Op. 35; I. Lento -) but NOT the meta-tags (but to be aware of this problem this you have to put the mouse over the file).
When I next copy the folder with the (according to DBP "correctly ripped") files to my NAS (via wired ethernet) these (in reality corrupted?) files get a name such as: 01DMIT~1.FLA
And they are NOT visible to my Sonos (and of course can NOT be played).
What is happening here?
(I have re-ripped these same CDs several times and the errors are consistent: NO error message during ripping, but absent meta-tags and invisible/not playable).
This is of course VERY annoying. I came across this problem only after having ripped about 1000 CDs, 100 of them presenting this problem for at least one of the tracks (sometimes it is only 1 or some tracks, sometimes all tracks are corrupt).
