Question re: Edit-ID Tag

The metadata editor (Edit-ID Tag) is great. Just one question...in Media Center the metadata shows a tag labelled "Date Created", yet when I check the metadata as shown by Edit-ID Tag, I don't find a corresponding label.

Since I ripped the file over a year ago before I ever installed M/C, the only way it could have known when the file was created was if there was tag in the WAV metadata, yet Edit-ID Tag doesn't show it.

QUESTION: is Edit-ID Tag seeing all the tags imbedded in the native WAV file? And if not, why not?

Wave LIST tagging has fixed pigeon holes, there are a set number of these, if an application create their own tag value other applications would not know about as it .
