Hi, I have been trying to convert some video musical performances into just audio using the LINE IN port on my PC but, although it does work, I keep getting a buzzz in the background. Any help on how to maybe get rid of that?...

Sometimes when this happens to me it is because the cable doesn't exactly fit what I'm trying to fit it in.

What are you recording from? An external device? Or are you rerouting the LINE OUT of your computer to the LINE IN?

I have been recording from LPs and Videos using either a VCR or Record Player...I know there will be some buzz in the background but it seems to me that it's a little too much...

One of two things: your audio source is too low on volume, or you have an earth loop, do a search in google for 'earth loop' and audio
