What di I Need?

Hi All,
Well I have finally decided to digitize my cd collection (vinyl will have to wait)
As I have over 2,000 cd's, I tried one at a time and it was painful so i purchased a second hand Primera Composer Pro that i should receive in a few days.
So after reading lots of post and studying the site I am left with a few questions, I am not a computer geek.
1. I plan to buy DB PowerAmp Ref R14, Is this the right choice?
2. Is Batch ripper included in that purchase? Or do I need to buy it seperate?
3. How do I go about purchasing the "Lookups for Metadata?
4. What is the recomended computer config?
5. No Mac computers are usable?

I don't mind paying for any of this, Just want to get the right stuff the
first time around
In case I run into setup issues anyone here willing to do paid telephone support?

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. You get 400 then click the link within the program to add more
4. Any modern PC will do
5. If you run Parallels you can use the MAC

My used Composer pro just arrived and I have some follow up questions,
1.It arrived with no software disks, so if I purchase Ref R14 and
batch ripper, will I need any other software?
2. If I need additional software, what would it be and where could I purchase it?
3. My computer is as follows, would this be sufficient?
Pentium 4 2.40GHZ
1.5 GB RAM
40 Gig Hard Drive

4.If this computer is OK I plan on changing out the hard drive to at least a
I TB drive would this be a good idea?

5. I have to add a firewire card to make the Composer work,
any reccomendations as to what card to buy.

It should have a serial port as well, this is used to control the robot arm.
