I got 2 issues I'm trying to figure out any ideas

1 I'm using an ASRock X58 extreme 6 mobo with 6 SATAII 6 SATAIII connections using 2 of the SATA III connection with ODD and all 6 of the SATAII with ODD as long as I only rip on SATAII's everything's fine but as soon as I start to rip with SATAIII connected ODD the program CRASHES. and I use all the same drives with SLYSOFT to rip dvd's no problem and all drives playback with out a hitch. anybody got any ideas on hoe to get dbpoweramp to play nice with a SATAIII connection? *blooper*2 the program with out rim or reason I can figure out just goes idle. I click around and most times if goes back to ripping occasionally I have exit the program and start over whats up with that? other than that this is a FANTASTIC piece of software. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

It is dBpoweramp which is crashing, or Windows?

First I would uninstall Slysoft as a test as it acts as a go between (between dBpoweramp and the CD drive).
