Post Rip designation in secure mode

Why when ripping some cd's that say they are in the accurip data base to start some times have a Green checkmark in the end and say secure vs saying Accurip?

Does this mean this cd is the first one ripped in thier data base?

If the other tracks are ripped with a AccurateRip verification and a confidence of 3 or more then likely those secure tracks have errors (and the cd drive cannot detect the errors).

Actually when this happens all tracks have a green "Secure" and a green check mark next to the song

Make sure you are using R14 which can check other pressings.

I get this on occation too.

I am using R14 and checking other pressings.

Several of my discs have sucessfully ripped, and report all tracks as being ripped "Secure".

Is this an indication the disc in question is not in the db, or of a different pressing?

How can we tell if a disc (or different pressing) is in accurip or not?

Thanks in advance for any information/clarification you can provide.

The disc was in AccurateRip if it said down the bottom 'Present in AccurateRip' (before ripping), but the offset of the pressing might be outside the checking range, so it cannot be used.
