Hello Wise Ones,
Usually, with most programs, one can click on "Help / About" and see what version is installed.
With a little detective work (right clicking on the exe-file), I found this as my version number: 13.3.0.2 (CDGrab.exe)
If I wish to upgrade to 13.5:
1) Is it a free upgrade?
2) Do I uninstall everything and start fresh? I believe (if memory serves me) there were FIVE different installation files (dMC, various codecs, etc.) that need to be downloaded and each gone through individually.
3) Regarding 13.5, the fix for the Mp3 LAME bug fixed a problem with corrupted MP3 files. Was that corruption problem happening with my version 13.3.0.2? Or did it begin happening with a later version after mine? How would I know if I have any corrupted MP3s as a result? I have ripped thousands of MP3 files with this version and have NOT gone back and listened to each and every cut to determine that the MP3 was encoded properly.
Thank you!
Garrett
